Your account information is used to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access. We implement authentication measures to ensure that only you can access your personal trading data and insights.

Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requires certain permissions to function properly. The storage permission allows us to securely save your authentication token locally in your browser, keeping you logged in between sessions. The side panel permission enables the extension interface to be displayed in your browser's side panel for easy access to all features.

We request notification and alarm permissions to provide optional daily reminders. The notifications permission allows us to send you gentle reminders if you have not logged your activity for the day. The alarms permission schedules periodic background checks to determine when to send these notifications, ensuring they are sent at appropriate times.

Host access to app.domefocus.com is required for the extension to communicate with our backend API. This permission allows the extension to securely send and receive your data, including trades, moods, check-ins, and AI insights. The extension only communicates with this specific domain and does not access any other websites or your browsing data.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on our backend servers hosted on Vercel. All data transmission between the Chrome extension and our servers uses HTTPS encryption to protect your information from unauthorized access. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser's secure storage and are never transmitted to third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

We use Google OAuth for secure authentication. When you sign in with Google, we only receive your email address to create and manage your account. We do not have access to your Google password or other Google account information.

Your messages to the AI assistant are processed by our AI service provider to generate personalized insights and analysis. Our hosting provider, Vercel, stores your data on secure servers. These third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and security measures.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your trading data, mood entries, and personal reflections remain completely private and are never shared with other users or external parties.
